Speak English confidently

Speak English confidently by practising where nobody hears the attempt that went wrong.

The reason most people never practise out loud is embarrassment — a partner kept waiting, a class held up, a colleague who heard the mistake. Talkexa removes the audience. Say it badly, get it fixed in your own language, say it again. Confidence is what is left when the fear of being heard is gone.

Why you freeze

You can read English for years and still go blank when a real person asks a real question. That is not a knowledge gap; it is a production gap under pressure. The sentence exists in your head, but the path from head to mouth has not been used enough to be automatic — and the fear of getting it wrong in front of someone makes it worse.

The fix is boring and effective: produce sentences out loud, often, with low stakes and quick correction. That is the whole design of Talkexa.

No audience, honest feedback

In a session there is no partner to keep waiting and no class to hold up. Your speech is transcribed by an AI provider to run the conversation; no person listens. The tutor reacts to what you meant, gives a better version of your sentence when it needs one and explains why in your own language — then asks the next question. Every correction is private, immediate and repeatable.

  • Speak out loud with no one listening
  • Corrections in the same reply, explained in your language
  • Praise when the line was already good — no invented mistakes
  • Report after each session so you can see progress
  • Free minutes every day to build the habit

Rehearse the moments that scare you

Confidence is specific. Tell Talkexa the situation and practise it before it happens: the job interview in English, the first call with a client, introducing yourself at a meeting, ordering in a restaurant abroad without switching languages. Do it three times in the app and the fourth time — the real one — is no longer the first.

Small sessions, visible progress

You do not need an hour. Five minutes of speaking on your first day and three minutes every day after that is enough to keep the habit and see the report change: fewer of the same grammar corrections, more “better sentences” you already used correctly. Premium and Pro Max add 10 or 30 minutes a day and full history when you want more.

Frequently asked questions

Is anyone listening to my practice?

Your conversation partner is AI. Your speech is processed by our AI provider to generate replies and feedback. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Will the tutor correct every small mistake?

It corrects mistakes, awkward phrasing and unnatural wording, one clear better version at a time. If your sentence was fine it says so and moves on.

I am a beginner. Is it too hard?

Set your level to beginner. Replies stay short and the pace is gentle, and every tip is explained in your own language.

Can I type instead of speaking on a bad day?

Yes. Text replies are available whenever you would rather not talk out loud.

Your first five minutes are free.

Talkexa is free to start on iPhone — 5 minutes of speaking today, then 3 minutes every day. Premium adds 10 minutes a day, Pro Max 30.
