Daily English conversation

Daily English conversation practice — a few real minutes, every day.

Fluency is built by talking often, not by studying long. Talkexa gives you a daily English conversation with an AI tutor who answers out loud, fixes your sentence in the same breath and keeps the talk going — so speaking becomes a habit instead of an event.

Why daily beats intensive

Most learners speak English in bursts: a class once a week, a trip once a year, a call they dread. Between those moments the mouth forgets what the head knows. Vocabulary you can read stays passive because you never had to produce it under mild time pressure.

A daily English conversation flips that. Three to ten minutes of actually speaking — about your morning, your work, a plan for the weekend — keeps the production side of the language warm. Talkexa is built around exactly this: every account gets free speaking minutes every day, so there is always a reason to open the app and say something.

What a daily session looks like

You tap Speak and say whatever is on your mind. The tutor answers in English, with a voice, and reacts to what you meant. If your line had a mistake or an awkward phrasing, the same reply includes a better version you can repeat and a one-line reason in your own language. Then it asks a follow-up question so you keep talking.

When you end the session you get a report: grammar corrections, vocabulary improvements, better sentences, a short summary and recommendations for next time. Over a week the reports show the same two or three issues shrinking — which is what daily practice is for.

  • Free: 5 minutes of speaking on your first day, then 3 minutes every day
  • Real conversation about your own life, not scripted drills
  • Corrections arrive while you talk, explained in your language
  • Session report with grammar, vocabulary and what to practise next
  • Text replies available when you cannot speak out loud

Topics that work well for daily English conversation

You do not need a lesson plan. Describe your day so far. Explain what you are cooking. Tell the tutor about a problem at work and how you plan to fix it. Rehearse something coming up — a call with a client, ordering at a restaurant abroad, a small talk moment with a colleague. The tutor adapts to your level (beginner, intermediate or advanced) and stays in English.

Free every day, more time when you want it

The free plan is designed for exactly this habit: three minutes a day is enough for one real exchange and a report. If you want longer conversations, Premium gives you 10 minutes a day plus full conversation history and advanced grammar and vocabulary feedback, and Pro Max gives you 30 minutes a day. Subscriptions are monthly and cancel any time in the App Store or Google Play.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a daily English conversation be?

Three to ten minutes is enough when you do it every day. The free plan gives you 3 minutes daily; Premium and Pro Max extend that to 10 or 30 minutes.

What if I run out of things to say?

The tutor always asks a follow-up question, so the conversation keeps moving. Talking about your actual day is the easiest starting point.

Can I practise a language other than English?

Yes. Talkexa supports 16 practice languages including Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Korean. This site focuses on English speaking practice because that is what most people use it for.

Does it work offline?

No. Speech recognition and the tutor’s replies are generated by AI in the cloud, so you need a connection.

Your first five minutes are free.

Talkexa is free to start on iPhone — 5 minutes of speaking today, then 3 minutes every day. Premium adds 10 minutes a day, Pro Max 30.
