Is Talkexa free?
Free to start, no card needed. Every new account gets 5 minutes of speaking on the first day, then 3 free minutes every day after that. Premium and Pro Max add 10 or 30 minutes a day; prices shown in your app store are authoritative for your region.
Is Talkexa an English speaking practice app or a general language app?
This site focuses on English conversation practice: everyday situations, work and job interviews. The app also offers other practice languages and three learning levels. Choose your language and level in your profile.
How do the corrections work?
You talk, the tutor replies out loud. When a line has a mistake or an awkward phrasing, the same reply gives you a better version and a one-line reason why, in your language. When you end the session you get a report: grammar fixes, vocabulary, better sentences and what to practise next.
Does Talkexa score my pronunciation?
Not today. Talkexa transcribes what you say and corrects grammar, word choice and phrasing. You practise pronunciation by speaking out loud, listening to the tutor and replaying any line — but there is no per-sound pronunciation score.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. Speech recognition, the tutor’s replies and your feedback are generated by AI in the cloud, so practice needs a connection.
Is anyone listening to me?
You speak with an AI tutor rather than a live teacher. Your speech is processed by our AI provider to generate the conversation and feedback. Read the Privacy Policy for details about data handling.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play and renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel any time in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings — billing is not handled inside the app.
My subscription is not unlocking
Open your subscription from Profile and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same store account you bought with.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. Or email support from your registered address and we will handle it.
